IBO Player Setup Guide

When you launch IBO Player for the first time, you'll see a welcome screen displaying a unique MAC address (format: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX) and a device key. This is how we bind your subscription to your device.

1. Write down the MAC address (or take a photo with your phone)
2. Open WhatsApp on your phone
3. Message +1 514 447 7860 with your MAC + your StreamSeven order ID
4. We confirm receipt within 5 minutes during business hours, 15 minutes overnight

Once we activate your MAC, restart IBO Player. Your StreamSeven playlist will appear with the full channel list grouped by category: Canadian Networks · Sports · Movies · Kids · News · International · 4K UHD · VOD.

Use the remote or touchpad to:

• Press OK on any channel to start streaming
• Press Up/Down to navigate the channel list
• Press Info for the 7-day EPG
• Long-press OK to favourite a channel
• Press Menu to switch between Live TV, Movies, Series

Most subscribers create a "Canadian Sports" favourites list within five minutes - it makes finding TSN, RDS, and Sportsnet feeds during NHL nights effortless.

StreamSeven streams in 4K Ultra HD when your connection and screen support it. To make sure you're getting the best quality:

• Internet speed: 25 Mbps minimum, 50+ Mbps for 4K. Run fast.com to confirm.
• Wired or 5 GHz Wi-Fi: Ethernet beats Wi-Fi every time. If wireless, use 5 GHz, not 2.4 GHz.
• IBO Player settings: Settings → Player → Hardware decoding → ON. Buffer size → Medium.
• Restart the box weekly: Memory clears, streams play smoother. Takes 30 seconds.
• Update the app: Enable auto-updates on the device store. New IBO releases improve playback.

"My channels won't load"

Check internet speed first (need 25+ Mbps). Then in IBO Player go to Settings → Reload playlist. If still stuck, message support - we'll do a free server migration in under 10 minutes.

"Audio is out of sync"

Settings → Player → Audio delay → +200 ms (or -200 ms). Most fixes are within +/-500 ms. Save and re-launch the channel.

"EPG is empty"

Settings → EPG → Refresh. Allow 60 seconds. The 7-day guide will populate. Disable battery saver if on phone.

"Anti-Freeze said it would help, but I'm still buffering"
